Follow our guide! Our collection is made of 925 Sterling Silver, an alloy composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. Silver is a ductile metal in its pure state and is made more consistent with this combination! Keeping all its shine while giving it a better consistency more likely to be worked, no wonder that 925 silver is the most common silver alloy in jewelry! In addition to its superb brilliance, silver has multiple qualities: it is a hypoallergenic metal. Surprisingly, it is used for curative purposes for its purifying qualities. Unlike copper or iron, which tend to produce an unpleasant odor upon contact with the skin, silver also possesses the property of being odorless.

On the other hand, silver is naturally sensitive to air, but you can relax! Black deposits resulting from oxidation are easily removed!  To maintain a silver butterfly jewelry, you can simply clean it gently with a toothbrush and a little toothpaste! You can also let it soak for 10 hours in a bowl of beer! Then just rinse it with clean water and rub it with a soft cloth.

As such, in order to prevent the phenomenon of darkening of silver, some of our jewelry has been rhodium-plated or platinum-plated. These elements, which are sometimes more expensive than gold, help prevent oxidation while imitating its shine. But here again, some people prefer pure 925 silver jewelry because they find the shine of platinum and rhodium too intense. Indeed, some people will choose slightly oxidized jewelry. When a tad oxidized, silver is far from being devoid of style!
